Some of us may have thought it was foolish have a fundraising collection on Sunday April 1 but when the tins and buckets were emptied at the end of the day we discovered it had all been worthwhile and that Sainsbury’s' customers had given generously despite the date!
Cornwall CRASH Card Launched
Cornwall Freewheelers were pleased to add their support to Cornwall Council’s Road Safety unit and the South West Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust by attending the launch of their new CRASH Card launch in Cornwall at Damerell’s Motorcycles in Indian Queens on Saturday 24 March.
John Mcneill (holding the card in the picture below), a volunteer rider member of Cornwall Freewheelers and Cornwall Council’s Road Safety Project Coordinator, said “In the run up to possibly the biggest biking weekend of the year, we’re delighted to join this national scheme which not only raises awareness among bikers, but could save lives in Cornwall”.
